Pat Doncaster and Paul Neigel joined talents and formed Lotus Construction in 1992. Each had been in construction since their teens, owning their own contracting firms and bringing together over 50 years in residential and commercial construction.

President and Secretary of Lotus Construction, Pat has a natural love for wood and woodworking, has honed his craft over the years and is now considered a master carpenter and woodcrafter.

Paul, Vice-President and Treasurer of Lotus Construction, is a native Portlander whose engineering background gives him the expertise for bidding out and estimating all of Lotus Construction's contracts.

Both Pat and Paul are active volunteers in their communities and are avid outdoorsmen and animal advocates.

For the past fifteen years they have worked almost exclusively from client or decorator referrals and have built up five generations of clients. Because of these close relationships, Pat and Paul personally supervise or perform all their work, working closely with the choice talented specialists and subcontractors they have gathered together over the years. Their range of work specialties includes custom restoration, kitchens, baths, decks, and interior and exterior painting.
